Advancing Canadian Self-care     

From sunscreens to pain relievers, vitamins to herbals, and toothpastes to acne treatments, self-care health products are vital tools in the personal health management of virtually all Canadians. NDMAC, the Association representing the $3.8 billion self-care health products industry, is dedicated to advancing Canadian self-care by building an environment that improves the opportunities for people to manage their own health through the responsible use of safe and effective self-care health products.

NDMAC's member companies are at the forefront of the industry in Canada, accounting for the vast majority of all self-care health products sold nationally each year. Together with government and the health care sector, NDMAC member companies maintain leadership in the establishment of the regulatory framework that safeguards the development, registration, advertisement and sale of safe and effective self-care health products in Canada.
